EUROS WILLIAMS - CAPTAIN Euros (pronounced "Eros", The Greek God of Love!) is from the UK, born and raised in the spectacular mountains of North Wales. At a young age he started playing the cornet and became successful as a soloist and band member. He later gained his Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honors in Music at the University of Salford, Manchester. Euros went on to manage The Royal Channel Island Yacht Club bar and restaurant. This provided him with valuable knowledge of the hospitality industry. He then moved to the ocean side of the yachting industry. There he spent over a year as a marine technician with Princess Yachts and Jeanneau. Euros has lived, crewed & raced on board a number of yachts, completing many ocean crossings. Most recently crossing the Atlantic Ocean as Captain of S/Y Kings Ransom. Euros has sailed more than 16,000 nautical miles up and down the Caribbean chain, chartering in the most beautiful islands in the world. Euros will show you the best the Caribbean has to offer. Whether mixing up a tropical cocktail to enjoy while watching the sunset, sailing the seas or diving some of the most amazing dive sites in the Caribbean, you'll be in good hands with Euros. If you're lucky you'll be able to hear him play his cornet either with the band at the Last Resort Restaurant or he might just wake you up in the morning with revelry!! Euros holds his RYA Yachtmaster, Advanced first aid certificate and is also a PADI Divemaster.
EMILY WILLIAMS - CHEF Emily is from the UK, the lovely Island of Jersey, situated in the Channel Islands between England and France. Soon after, she moved to North Wales, where she gained a passion for horses. In the summer holidays her passion shifted from the saddle to the helm, from riding white horses on the beach to riding white horses on the sea, sailing around Jersey with her father. Emily went on to study at the University of Northampton where she gained her Bachelor of Arts degree with honors in Education and English. After graduation from university, Emily had three years offshore banking experience, as a fund administrator in Jersey. Since then, the meaning "offshore" has changed for her. For the past two years she has worked as a Chef on the successful charter catamaran S/Y Swish. Prior to this she was a sous chef/stewardess on S/Y True North, where she studied with an Australian chef specializing in oriental and Thai cuisine. Emily's menu touches on flavours from around the world. Emily is an award winning chef, winning Best Chef Overall at the 2007 Charter Yacht Boat Show. She will dazzle you with her culinary delights. Emily holds a RYA Day Skipper Certificate, advanced first aid certificate and she is also a PADI Rescue Diver. She loves entertaining, socialising, yoga and wakeboarding.
DAN BOWDITCH - FIRST MATE
Dan is from the UK and served as a London Firefighter for 10 years before taking time out of the service to lead Overland Adventure tours in South America and Morocco, North Africa. He is a keen traveler, photographer, qualified personal trainer and certified PADI scuba diver, currently working towards his PADI Instructor certification. He is also a commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster, Offshore, having completed this qualification while sailing throughout South Africa. Dan is adventurous, fun loving and along with Suzie is here to bring his talents to the team to create an unforgettable sailing vacation for guests of all ages.
SUZIE RIDLER - STEWARDESS
Suzie is also from the UK and her background is within the banking industry and as a qualified sports massage therapist and personal trainer. She enjoys to travel, and with Dan obtained her RYA Yachtmaster Offshore, while sailing in South Africa. In 2009 Suzie and Dan brought a Leopard 46ft sailing cat from South Africa across the Atlantic to the Caribbean. It was here they ran a charter boat before joining Euros and Emily to complete the crew of Kings Ransom. As a stewardess, Suzie is both friendly and attentive to guests´ needs and wants, loves to entertain and her service constantly exceeds guests' standards.
